Asbestos Now the Number 1 Workplace Killer in British Columbia

Front page news Vancouver Province: More and more of the older work force die from asbestos exposure incurred years ago while working in the automotive, industrial, and shipbuilding industries. Asbestos now the number one workplace killer. And a further warning.
A few days ago I received word from one of my cousins that her father had died of asbestosis. He was heavy-duty electrician and work at many of the industrial plants in the BC area. bur there is a further warning here. With the marked increase of insect infestations, many people are turning to powdered insecticides. Many of these products have not been on the market very long--all are made up of adhesive, abrasive particles, much like asbestos particles. I am not saying that they are but on the other hand,  they well could be just as dangerous to human health.
